Additional Learning Needs

 ALNCO - Miss B. Pearce

At Ty Sign Primary School, we have a dedicated Additional Learning Needs Co-ordinator (ALNC0) who works collaboratively to support the specific needs of our pupils alongside the class teachers, teaching assistants and outside professionals. These individuals regularly meet to discuss and plan interventions and strategies for individual pupils.

We have developed strong partnerships with external agencies and professionals to ensure a holistic approach to meeting our pupils' needs. This includes regular communication and collaboration with the Local Authority ALN team, Health Services, and other relevant organizations.

In addition to the specific provision for pupils with ALN, we also prioritize the well-being and mental health of all our pupils. We have implemented various strategies and initiatives to promote positive mental health and well-being.

At Ty Sign Primary School, we are committed to providing an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all pupils can thrive and reach their full potential. We continuously strive to adapt our provision to meet the evolving needs of our pupils and ensure that they receive the necessary support and resources to succeed.

If you are concerned about your child and would like to discuss our additional learning provisions please contact me via the School Office or School email.

Please find below our Provision Road Map to outline how we support your child.
